        "content": "<p>Japan aids grassroot projects<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Japan will extend its financial aid of Rp 1.4<br>\nbillion (US$191,716) to help six grassroot projects in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>The Japanese Embassy said here last week the aid will be<br>\nchanneled to Indonesian nongovernmental organizations and a<br>\ngovernmental institute.<\/p>\n<p>The assistance scheme will aim at the implementation of<br>\nvarious projects, such as improving the health of children,<br>\nassisting physically handicapped people, providing equipment for<br>\nfarmers and helping drug addicts.<\/p>\n<p>Among those organizations receiving funds are the Indonesian<br>\nFederation for the Welfare of the Deaf, Yayasan Mitra Mulia, PSPP<br>\nKhusnul Khotimah and the Pasar Rebo Hospital.
