        "content": "<p>The Attorney General\u2019s Office (Kejagung) has once again seized assets\nbelonging to suspect Samin Tan (ST) in connection with coal mining\ncorruption in Central Kalimantan (Kalteng) and South Kalimantan\n(Kalsel). The Special Criminal Prosecution Team of the Deputy Attorney\nGeneral (Jampidsus) this time seized assets of PT MCM, affiliated with\nPT Asmin Kaolindo Tuhup (AKT) owned by Samin Tan.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Public Relations and Legal Information Centre\n(Kapuspenkum) Anang Supriatna explained that the seized assets,\nestimated to be worth hundreds of billions or even trillions, consist of\nboth movable and immovable items. These include heavy equipment used for\nillegal coal mining, as well as seized mining products.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRegarding these seized assets, approval has been granted by the\nlocal chief judge, and they will subsequently be managed by the Attorney\nGeneral\u2019s Asset Recovery Agency (BPA),\u201d Anang stated in a press release\non Wednesday (8\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>The seized items include 47 buildings located at PT MCM\u2019s site in\nKaong Village, Upau Subdistrict, Tabalong, South Kalimantan.\nInvestigators also seized the main office building area of PT AKT in\nCentral Kalimantan, along with three generator units, one forklift unit,\none generator tank, and one control panel.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators further seized around 60,000 metric tons (MT) of coal\nstored in the stockpile coal handling processing facility in Tumbang\nBaung Village, Laung Tuhup, Murung Raya, belonging to PT AKT in Central\nKalimantan.<\/p>\n<p>At the same location, investigators seized seven mining heavy\nequipment units and one giant truck for transporting mining results, one\nfuel filler truck, one conveyor, as well as four generators and three\nfuel filling stations.<\/p>\n<p>Still at the mining site, 37 heavy equipment units for the mining\nprocess were also seized, along with 20 lighting plant units, one\nlighting power unit, one fuel filling tank, one compressor, and four\nheavy equipment pieces still in assembly function.<\/p>\n<p>At the PT AKT office location, investigators seized one mining work\nroom. They also seized 40 heavy equipment units, seven lighting towers,\none light pick-up vehicle, three welding machines, one compactor, one\nline boring machine, and one CNC machine.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, seizures were carried out on assets at PT AKT\u2019s\nstockpile, consisting of one crusher machine, five heavy equipment\nunits, and 14 hauling trucks. At the fuel filling location, five large\nfuel filling tanks were seized, along with four transport and fuel\nfilling trucks.<\/p>",
