The Regional Office of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj)
Jambi has prepared a streamlined scheme to welcome the return of Hajj
pilgrims, who are scheduled to arrive at the Jambi City Hajj Dormitory
on Tuesday evening (16/06).

“We have prepared a simplified welcoming scheme; once they arrive at
the Hajj dormitory, they will be briefly welcomed and then immediately
moved to their respective regions to prevent overcrowding,” explained
the Head of the Jambi Province Kemenhaj Regional Office, Wahyud Abdul
Wahab, in Jambi on Sunday.

Wahyudi explained that all sequences of the Hajj rituals for all
flight groups (kloter) from Jambi have been successfully completed. For
this Hajj season, the authorities have implemented a concise, flexible,
and rapid-response scheme. This is based on the policy that Hajj
pilgrims will no longer stay overnight at the Jambi Hajj Dormitory upon
their return, except for pilgrims from specific areas.

Once the ceremonial process is complete, pilgrims will be moved
directly to their home districts, including those from Jambi City. Local
governments are required to facilitate transportation for their citizens
from the Hajj Dormitory. According to Wahyudi, this policy was adopted
to prevent mass congestion in the Jambi Hajj Dormitory area.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has advised families not to pick up
pilgrims directly at the dormitory to maintain security, ensure smooth
traffic flow, and preserve the comfort of the pilgrims who have just
completed a long journey.

According to the return schedule for Jambi pilgrims, the process
begins with Flight Group 13, travelling from Jeddah Airport to Hang
Nadim Airport, Batam. Upon arrival in Batam, pilgrims will continue on a
domestic flight to Sultan Thaha Airport, Jambi. From the airport,
pilgrims will be transported by bus to the Jambi Hajj Dormitory for a
brief welcoming ceremony and official release.

“We are coordinating with the provincial government and the relevant
airlines regarding these preparations,” he concluded.
",
