        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The local Jabodetabek television channel, JAKTV,\nis strengthening its broadcast security system following a disruption\nthat caused the appearance of content with obscene material. JAKTV\nDirector Soemarsono stated in an official release in Jakarta on Monday\nthat since the incident was identified, JAKTV has undertaken a number of\nhandling measures, including halting the unauthorised broadcast and\ntemporarily suspending broadcasting activities as a security precaution.\nSoemarsono conveyed that his party also conducted an initial examination\nof the related systems and devices, submitted a report to the Metro Jaya\nRegional Police, and coordinated with the Ministry of Communication and\nDigital Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, the Jakarta Regional\nIndonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPID), and the National Cyber and\nCrypto Agency (BSSN). He added that JAKTV has accepted and respects the\ndecision of the Jakarta KPID, which has imposed an administrative\nsanction in the form of a written reprimand against JAKTV regarding the\nevent. \u201cWe understand that this decision serves as an important reminder\nof JAKTV\u2019s responsibility as a broadcasting institution to maintain a\nbroadcasting space that is safe, healthy, orderly, and in accordance\nwith applicable broadcasting regulations. We realise that this incident\nshould not have happened,\u201d said Soemarsono. On this occasion, he once\nagain expressed his sincerest apologies to all viewers, the public,\nparents, families, partners, and all parties who felt uncomfortable,\ndisturbed, or harmed by the broadcast of said viewing material.\nSoemarsono stated that input from all viewers is an important part of\nthe media\u2019s efforts to improve.
