Governor Pramono Anung has assured that\nthe selection process is being conducted transparently, without any\nnepotism. \u201cThe DKI Jakarta government is opening job vacancies as a\nsocial safety net. Currently, the first and second phases have been\ncompleted for 2,843 vacancies, with 132,627 applicants,\u201d Governor\nPramono Anung said in Jakarta on Thursday. Pramono stated that out of\nthe hundreds of thousands of applicants, some are still in the\napplication process while others have already been accepted. He\nguaranteed that the recruitment process for the Padat Karya programme is\ntransparent and free from \u201centrusted individuals\u201d. \u201cEverything is\ntransparent, and I have asked the respective agency heads to be the\nfinal decision-makers so there is no favouritism. Registration for the first phase\nof the Padat Karya programme will close on 25 and 26 June 2026. The\nannouncement will then be made on 27 June 2026, which also marks the\nopening of registration for the second phase. The DKI Jakarta Provincial\nGovernment has opened 2,843 vacancies through the Padat Karya programme,\nwhich will be implemented in stages as a social safety net for Jakarta\nresidents in need. The programme follows up on Governor Pramono Anung\u2019s\ndirective to expand job opportunities for Jakarta residents. Through\nthis programme, urban development and maintenance activities are\nexpected to provide direct economic benefits while serving as temporary\nsupport for communities requiring additional income.
