Jakarta's first botanical residence launched<\/p>\n
PT Copylas Indonesia, a subsidiary of PT Jakarta Setiabudi
\nInternasional Tbk, and Bogor Botanical Garden recently signed a
\ncooperation agreement for the development of Puri Botanical
\nResidence project, the first botanical residential estate in
\nJakarta.<\/p>\n
Under the agreement signed on June 16, the Center for Plant
\nConservation at the Bogor Botanical Garden will act as the
\nauthorized project representative to handle and supervise the
\nselection, planting, and maintenance of various plants in the
\nPuri Botanical Garden.<\/p>\n
The signing of the agreement marked the soft launching of Puri
\nBotanical Garden located at Mega Kebon Jeruk. It will become the
\nfirst residential project in Jakarta area, which has been
\ndeveloped and referred to by PT Copylas Indonesia as a Botanical
\nResidence.<\/p>\n
The objectives of the Botanical Garden concept for Puri
\nBotanical Residence are to put balance into the rapid urban
\ndevelopment in Jakarta that has been dominated by physical
\ndevelopments such as building structures and concrete areas, as
\nwell as creating \"green open space\" residential areas that can
\ncreate a high standard of environmental quality.<\/p>\n
It is also expected to contribute ecological, educative and
\nrecreative benefits to residents of these areas, and the city of
\nJakarta generally.<\/p>\n
The restored green, open space residential area not only
\nprovides a fresh and embellished atmosphere, but also restores
\nharmony and balance of natural resources. In turn, these benefits
\nalso contribute to conformity, freshness, and liberation from
\npollution and noise. In addition, it guarantees an improvement in
\nhealth and in the intelligence of residents.<\/p>\n
Botanical Garden, or Kebun Botani, also known as Kebun Raya,
\nis vast garden that contains collections of plants from around
\nthe world. Aside from plants, the Botanical Garden also has
\nnumerous thematic gardens of various designs as well as divider
\nplants, which function as embellishment.<\/p>\n
Plants are also carefully selected by the Botanical Garden to
