        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Regional Public Service Agency for\nRegional-Owned Enterprises (BP BUMD) of DKI Jakarta Province records\nthat clean water service coverage in Jakarta has reached 81.49 percent\nas of 31 March 2026. \u201cThis figure has increased significantly by 13.82\npercent compared to the first quarter of 2025, which was 71.59 percent,\u201d\nsaid the Head of BP BUMD DKI Jakarta, Syaefuloh Hidayat, at City Hall,\nJakarta, on Friday. Previously, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government\ntargeted 100 percent clean water service coverage in the capital by\n2029, or at least 90 percent by 2026. An increase has also occurred in\nthe number of connections, which as of the first quarter of 2026 reached\n1,223,759, or an increase of 241,537 connections compared to the first\nquarter of 2025, which was only 982,222 connections. \u201cThen, for\nlow-income community customers (MBR) 2A1 and 2A2, relief is still\nprovided through the healthy water card programme, totaling 394,842\ncustomers, or 32.2 percent of the total customers,\u201d Syaefuloh revealed.\nSyaefuloh also conveyed regarding the implementation of installing water\npurifiers for public facilities, which has reached 601 units, or an\naddition of 80 units during the January-March 2026 period.
