        "content": "<p>The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has stated it will\nconduct an evaluation of its enforcement against illegal parking after\nits action of towing online motorcycle taxi (ojol) drivers\u2019 vehicles\nwent viral on social media, drawing widespread criticism from\nnetizens.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Budi Awaluddin,\nadmitted he has coordinated with ojol drivers. The drivers are said to\noften struggle to find easily accessible parking spots when picking up\norders at malls or office buildings. Consequently, they frequently park\ntheir vehicles in unauthorised areas.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the agency will immediately coordinate with\nbuilding managers to provide dedicated spaces for ojol drivers. \u201cWe will\nimmediately coordinate this matter and hold a meeting by inviting fellow\nojol community members and operators so that this regulation can be\nimplemented properly,\u201d he said at Jakarta City Hall on Sunday\n(21\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>He acknowledged that not all buildings in Jakarta currently provide\nspaces for ojol drivers. Therefore, the agency will promptly communicate\nwith building managers, as well as ojol application operators. This\nrequirement is stipulated in the Minister of Transportation Regulation\nNumber 12 of 2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is our priority target. As soon as possible, perhaps next week,\nwe will invite operators and building managers to discuss the\nimplementation of the ministerial regulation regarding dedicated parking\nspaces for ojol,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
