        "content": "<p>Jakarta to have enough meat<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Director General of Animal Husbandry Soehadji<br>\nsaid yesterday that supplies of meat in Jakarta were sufficient<br>\nfor the Ramadhan fasting month and for Idul Fitri festivities but<br>\nthat he could not predict what would happen to its price.<\/p>\n<p>Soehadji was quoted by Antara yesterday as saying that for 40<br>\ndays prior to the Idul Fitri festival and for five days after it<br>\nthe demand for the meat would increase from 4,320 tons to 5,724<br>\ntons.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the supply of meat allocated to Jakarta for the<br>\nwhole 45 days was 6,794 tons.<\/p>\n<p>Suhadji said that during this festive season the city will<br>\nalso be supplied with 400 tons of chicken per day from West Java<br>\nand Central Java and with 600 tons of chicken eggs from West Java<br>\nand North Sumatra.
