Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) Toll Road\nSection 3, Cibadak (Parungkuda) to West Sukabumi segment, will be opened\nfunctionally during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri exodus and return journey\nin 2026.<\/p>\n
The Road Toll Regulatory Body (BPJT) of the Ministry of Public Works\n(PU) stated that the functional opening of Bocimi Section 3 is intended\nto support smooth traffic flow during the exodus and return journey,\nparticularly on the Bogor-Sukabumi route.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo support public mobility during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri \/ Eid\n2026 period, BPJT together with the toll road operator (BUJT) is\npreparing functional route operations on the Ciawi-Sukabumi Toll Road\n(part of section 3),\u201d said BPJT in its official Instagram @pupr_bpjt<\/span>, cited on\nSunday (15 March 2026).<\/p>\n For Bocimi Section 3, the functional opening will be partially\nopened, specifically from the Parungkuda interchange (IC) to\nKarangtengah access. The functional length reaches approximately 5 km.\nThis functional opening is exclusively for Class I non-bus vehicles such\nas sedans, minibuses, and jeeps in a single lane and one direction in\naccordance with police discretion.<\/p>\n \u201cThis 5 km segment is planned to operate functionally in a single\nlane one direction (situational) according to police discretion and is\nexclusively for Class I vehicles (non-bus) to support smooth exodus and\nreturn traffic,\u201d BPJT continued.<\/p>\n The functional scheme involves vehicles from Ciawi, Caringin, or\nCigombong entering through a temporary barrier gate at STA 26+200 (KM\n73+150) Lane A as a tapping point for toll road users who have already\npassed Section 2 (Cigombong-Cibadak).<\/p>\n Subsequently, exit access is at STA 31+250 (KM 78+200) Lane A via the\nKarangtengah overpass with a 6 m wide road leading to Karangtengah\nNational Road Junction 3, with total access distance of 1.3 km.<\/p>\n Additionally, an alternative exit access is available at STA 27+600\n(KM 74+550) Lane A via Jalan Dermaga (3.5 m wide) for 5 km until meeting\nKarangtengah County Road at Market Junction 3 Nagrak (6 m wide), then\ncontinuing for 3.5 km towards Karangtengah National Road Junction 3. The\ntotal access length reaches 8.5 km.<\/p>\n As a form of support for smooth operational efficiency, Bocimi toll\noperator PT Trans Jabar Tol ensures various systems and devices to\nenable functional operations to run well.<\/p>\n \u201cWe ensure the readiness of transaction devices, integration of\noperational systems at temporary barrier gates, including personnel\nsupport to anticipate technical disruptions during the functional\noperational period, preparing operational vehicles and personnel to\nsupport operations and emergency response, ensuring the availability and\nfunctionality of traffic signs and safety barriers as well as other\nsafety equipment in accordance with applicable regulations,\u201d explained\nBPJT.<\/p>\n Road users intending to use the Bocimi Section 3 functional toll road\nare urged to always exercise caution, comply with traffic regulations,\nand follow instructions from field personnel.<\/p>\n \u201cUsers are urged to always be cautious, comply with applicable\ntraffic regulations, follow instructions from field personnel, prepare\ntheir E-Toll card, and monitor official information to ensure safe and\nsmooth travel when using the functional toll road,\u201d it said.<\/p>",
