The Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) building on Jalan Abdul\nMuis Number 66, Petojo Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta, caught fire\nagain on Friday afternoon (21\/8).<\/p>\n
\u201cOfficers are currently still working to extinguish and break down\nthe burning material,\u201d according to an official report from the Command\nCenter of the Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) on Friday\n(21\/8).<\/p>\n
The fire at the Jakarta Bapenda building destroyed the archive room\non the 11th floor of the structure. The incident was first reported by\nthe Gambir Sub-district Fire Task Force at 5.10 pm Western Indonesia\nTime.<\/p>\n
Firefighters arrived at the location at around 5.18 pm and\nimmediately began extinguishing operations two minutes later.<\/p>\n
Officers managed to localise the flames at 5.25 pm before proceeding\nto the cooling process.<\/p>\n
The handling of the fire at the Jakarta Bapenda building encountered\ntechnical difficulties on the ground, as the building\u2019s water pump\nfacility was not functioning properly at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n
To extinguish the fire at the Jakarta Bapenda building, eight fire\nengines and 30 personnel were deployed to the scene.<\/p>\n
On 7 August 2026, the Jakarta Bapenda building had previously caught\nfire.
