        "content": "<p>Investment realisation in DKI Jakarta Province increased in 2025.\nBased on data from the Ministry of Investment and\nDownstreaming\/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Jakarta\u2019s investment\nrealisation in Q1 2025 (January\u2013March) was the largest nationally,\nreaching Rp 69.8 trillion from a total of 114,451 investment\nprojects.<\/p>\n<p>The figure contributed 15% of total national investment realisation\nand represented a sharp increase compared to Rp 58.4 trillion recorded\nin the same period in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Head of DKI Jakarta\u2019s Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services\nAgency (PMPTSP), Benni Aguscandra, said that domestic investment (PMDN)\nrealisation in Jakarta also remained the highest compared to other\nregions in Indonesia at the start of 2025, reaching Rp 42.2 trillion or\n18% of total national domestic investment realisation.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, foreign direct investment (PMA) realisation in Jakarta was\nrecorded at US$1.7 billion, contributing 11.9% of total national FDI\nrealisation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is inseparable from the direction of the Governor of DKI\nJakarta, who has instructed all his staff to consistently provide ease\nfor investors, from simplifying permits to providing adequate\ninfrastructure,\u201d said Benni in a statement on Wednesday (30 April).<\/p>\n<p>Benni claimed the results were attributable to various programmes\nundertaken by the PMPTSP Agency to drive investment growth. \u201cWe will\ncontinue to ensure Jakarta remains an attractive investment\ndestination,\u201d he pledged.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is also committed\nto continuing to drive inclusive and sustainable investment growth, in\norder to strengthen Jakarta\u2019s position as a national and global economic\nhub.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of Investment and Downstreaming\/Head of BKPM, Rosan\nRoeslani, revealed that three sectors made the largest contributions to\ninvestment realisation in Jakarta in Q1 2025. These were transport,\nwarehousing and telecommunications at Rp 24.5 trillion, followed by\nother services at Rp 16.6 trillion, and housing, industrial estates and\noffice space valued at Rp 8.6 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe transport, warehousing and telecommunications sector is one of\nthe reasons why investment in Jakarta has increased,\u201d Rosan said.<\/p>",
