        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of Polda Metro\nJaya is preparing escorts and traffic management arrangements during the\nstate visit of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, Anutin\nCharnvirakul, to Jakarta on 3-4 August 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Development and Operations Division of Ditlantas Polda\nMetro Jaya, Commissioner Robby Hefados, said personnel have been placed\non standby to carry out escorts and traffic management to ensure the\nsmooth running of the visiting dignitary\u2019s series of activities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOfficers in the field will carry out escorts and temporary traffic\narrangements on several protocol roads in Jakarta,\u201d said Robby in\nJakarta on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Robby said the traffic arrangements were made to ensure the smooth\njourney of the delegation whilst also showing respect for the visiting\ndignitary.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that traffic engineering would only be applied\nsituationally as the state guest\u2019s motorcade passed, so it would not\nlast all day.<\/p>\n<p>A number of roads to be traversed by the delegation include Jalan\nHalim Perdanakusuma, Jalan MT Haryono, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan MH\nThamrin, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Jalan Gatot Subroto, Jalan Gerbang\nPemuda, Jalan Asia Afrika, Jalan Sisingamangaraja and Jalan\nTrunojoyo.<\/p>\n<p>Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya appealed to members of the public\ntravelling through these areas to set out earlier or choose alternative\nroutes to avoid potential traffic congestion when the delegation\npasses.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, according to an official statement published on the Royal\nThai Government\u2019s website, PM Anutin Charnvirakul and his delegation\ndeparted from Bangkok for Jakarta on Monday local time.<\/p>\n<p>The statement said PM Anutin and his delegation departed from\nMilitary Airport 2, Wing 6 Don Mueang, Bangkok, for Halim Perdanakusuma\nAirport, Jakarta, to make an official visit to Indonesia on 3-4 August\n2026, including meeting Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the\nMerdeka Palace in Jakarta.<\/p>",
