        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Provincial Government is offering 40\nstrategic projects and thematic area developments across seven\nlocations, with an investment value of approximately 16.1 billion US\ndollars, or equivalent to Rp271.3 trillion, through the Jakarta\nInvestment Festival (JIF) 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Fransisca Hicca, Associate Expert Investment Manager at the Jakarta\nInvestment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP), stated\nthat the 40 strategic projects, which hold an investment value of around\n6.9 billion US dollars, or equivalent to Rp114 trillion, cover nine\nsectors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe nine sectors are residential, hospitality including hotel\nconstruction, the development of sports facilities, industrial and\nlogistics zones, commercial, mixed-use transit-oriented development\n(TOD), utility development, transport, and waterfront townships,\u201d she\nsaid during a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>These projects are owned by Jakarta\u2019s Regional-Owned Enterprises\n(BUMD), subsidiaries of BUMD, State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), and Public\nService Agencies (BLU) that have projects in Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to projects owned by Jakarta\u2019s BUMD, the Provincial\nGovernment, through DPMPTSP, presented studies for investment\nopportunities in seven areas of Jakarta that can be developed into\nthematic zones: Grogol Petamburan, Ragunan, Ancol, Monas, Cawang, Kebon\nJeruk, and the Jakarta coastline.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor example, the Grogol Petamburan area is suitable to be developed\nas an educational zone, then the Ragunan area to become a centre for\nsustainable development, and Kebon Jeruk to be developed as a\nresidential area,\u201d Fransisca explained.<\/p>\n<p>She noted that the investment value for all these area developments\nis approximately 9.1 billion US dollars, or equivalent to Rp157.3\ntrillion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen all the potential is combined, the total investment potential\noffered at JIF 2026 is around Rp271.3 trillion, or equivalent to 16.1\nbillion USD, using the 2026 state budget exchange rate,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Now in its sixth year, JIF 2026 is an annual business forum organised\nby the Jakarta Provincial Government through the Jakarta Investment\nCentre management unit.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s forum carries the theme \u201cAdvancing Today, Securing\nTomorrow\u201d. As in previous years, JIF brings together various policy\nstakeholders, including the government, business players, innovators,\nand local and global investors.<\/p>\n<p>The organisation of JIF is aimed at promoting various investment\nopportunities in Jakarta through the strategic projects of BUMD and BUMN\nin the capital.<\/p>",
