        "content": "<p>Jakarta\u2019s odd-even vehicle restriction system will remain in force\nfor two days in the early part of this week, namely Monday (16 March\n2026) and Tuesday (17 March 2026).<\/p>\n<p>Following this, the vehicle restriction rule will be temporarily\nsuspended from 18 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The policy was announced by the Jakarta Provincial Transportation\nDepartment amid the national holiday and joint leave period occurring\nduring that week.<\/p>\n<p>With this adjustment, the vehicle restriction system based on\nregistration plate numbers will apply for only two days in the third\nweek of March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The policy references the provisions in Jakarta Governor Regulation\nNo.\u00a088 of 2019, which stipulates that vehicle restrictions using the\nodd-even system are not enforced on national holidays.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the schedule for national holidays and joint leave in\n2026 has also been established through a Joint Ministerial Decree from\nThree Ministers concerning National Holidays and Joint Leave in\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>This rule applies during two time sessions.<\/p>\n<p>Motorists who violate these provisions may be subject to a traffic\nfine with a maximum penalty of Rp 500,000, in accordance with Article\n287 of Law No.\u00a022 of 2009 on Traffic and Road Transport.<\/p>\n<p>The Jakarta Provincial Government has urged citizens to continue\npaying attention to the odd-even schedule during these two days before\nthe rule is temporarily suspended during the national holiday\nperiod.<\/p>",
