Europe shipping<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The world's largest container shipping alliance,<br>\nthe Grand Alliance, launched its first direct service to<br>\nIndonesia with the arrival of OOCL Fortune at Jakarta<br>\nInternational Container Terminal (JICT) last Friday to start a<br>\nnew direct service between the country's premier port and North<br>\nEurope.<\/p>\n<p>JICT said here in a statement that the Grand Alliance consists<br>\nof five global shipping partners, namely Hapag-Lloyd, Malaysia<br>\nInternational Shipping Corporation, Nippon Yusen Kaisha Line,<br>\nOrient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) and P&amp;0-Nedlloyd.<\/p>\n<p>The 241-meter long OOCL Fortune has a capacity of 2,850<br>\nTEUs(twenty-feet equivalent units) and together with seven more<br>\nvessels from the Grand Alliance partners, will serve the ports of<br>\nSouthampton (United Kingdom), Rotterdam, Hamburg, La Spezia<br>\n(Italy) and many other destinations by transshipping containers<br>\nat these ports.<\/p>",
