        "content": "<p>Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung convened a meeting with a number of\nleaders of the Jakarta Regional House of Representatives (DPRD DKI\nJakarta) to discuss the region\u2019s financial condition and Jakarta\u2019s\ndevelopment budget for 2027. During the meeting, the Jakarta Provincial\nGovernment (Pemprov DKI) also discussed options for issuing sukuk or\nregional bonds to help finance Jakarta\u2019s development. DPRD Jakarta\nChairman Khoirudin said the meeting was attended by the Regional Budget\nTeam (TAPD) to discuss the 2027 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD\n2027). In the meeting, Pramono conveyed that the global economy likewise\naffects Jakarta\u2019s financial capacity. Moreover, the reduction in\nrevenue-sharing funds (DBH) by up to Rp 15 trillion also impacts the\nspace of the regional budget. \u2018In principle, the Governor emphasised\nthat the pressures on the economy, and the impact of the global economic\npressures, affect our budget. And, from all that, the reduction in DBH\ncontinues to occur,\u2019 he said. Nonetheless, Pemprov DKI assured that the\nbasic services budget will be maintained. However, he stressed that the plan to issue sukuk or\nregional bonds remains at the discussion stage. \u2018This is also a choice,\nnot yet decided, still only a discourse,\u2019 Khoirudin said. Khoirudin\nadded that the government would prioritise programmes directly related\nto the needs of the people.
