        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov DKI\nJakarta) is exploring cooperation on investments in the green\ninfrastructure and environmental sectors with a delegation from the\nAll-China Environment Federation (ACEF) to promote the transformation of\neconomic development, environmental sustainability, and urban resilience\namid global challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Head of the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency\n(DPMPTSP) of DKI Jakarta, Muhammad Herizkianto, stated that the\nrelationship between Indonesia and China, which has been established for\nmore than seven decades, serves as a strong foundation for expanding\ncooperation, particularly in sustainable sectors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe that strong partnerships will determine our success in\nbuilding resilient and sustainable urban systems,\u201d said Herizkianto in a\nstatement in Jakarta on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, Jakarta cannot proceed alone. Therefore, the\ngovernment is inviting investors to jointly develop solutions in the\nenvironmental and sustainable development sectors.<\/p>\n<p>He also highlighted China\u2019s significant contribution to foreign\ninvestment, valued at $7.5 billion nationally in 2025 and $483 million\nin Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>Herizkianto assessed that these figures still have considerable room\nfor improvement, especially in the environmental, infrastructure, and\ngreen urban development sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Vice Chairman of ACEF, Hong Ping, stated that Jakarta, as\none of the most dynamic cities in Southeast Asia, has vast development\nprospects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe do not only want to be technology providers but also long-term\npartners in Jakarta\u2019s development,\u201d said Hong Ping.<\/p>\n<p>He revealed that infrastructure and environmental sectors are the\nprimary priorities for this cooperation, aligning with Jakarta\u2019s needs\nin urban transportation development, wastewater treatment, improvement\nof water environmental quality, and waste management.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese fields are the main strengths of our companies. We are ready\nto bring solutions and experiences from China to be implemented through\nmutually beneficial concrete projects,\u201d stated Hong Ping.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, ACEF is encouraging the establishment of long-term\ncommunication mechanisms to ensure that the realisation of cooperation\ndoes not stop at the discussion stage.<\/p>",
