Dangerous air pollutants:
\n- Lead (Pb): Can cause health problems, such as brain damage
\n in children, male reproductive problems, kidney trouble.
\n- Sulfur Dioxide (SO2): Can cause lung problems, from
\n breathing problems to permanent lung damage.
\n- Carbon Dioxide (C02): If inhaled, can be toxic and cause
\n hyperventilation, unconsciousness and death.
\n- Nitrogen Oxide (NO3): Major contributor to smog and
\n acid rain; in high doses, smog can cause difficulties in
\n breathing for asthmatics, coughs in children and
\n general illness of the respiratory system.
\n- Ozone (O3): Can damage trees and plants and reduce
\n visibility.
\n- Particulate matter (PM), or any type of solids in the air
\n such as smoke, dust and vapors which remain suspended for
\n extended periods: Can cause cancer, bronchitis.<\/p>",
