        "content": "<p>Jail terms for looters<\/p>\n<p>MATARAM, West Nusa Tenggara: The local district court here<br>\nsentenced on Wednesday six defendants to one and a half months<br>\nimprisonment each for looting a chicken factory farm during the<br>\nJanuary riots.<\/p>\n<p>Setion bin Amaq Sehe, Nurdin, Kardi, Sarimah Amaq Nu, Sap and<br>\nMunihat, were found guilty of violating the Criminal Code's<br>\nArticle 363 on robbery.<\/p>\n<p>The six will join seven other convicted looters whose<br>\nsentences were passed at an earlier hearing on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>State prosecutors demanded two and a half months in prison for<br>\neach of the 13 defendants.<\/p>\n<p>The trial of four people accused of possessing weapons and<br>\nprovoking the riots is still underway, Antara reported.<\/p>\n<p>Local police, meanwhile, have arrested Zainal Asikin, the dean<br>\nof law at Mataram University in connection with the rioting.<br>\nZainal chaired the committee which organized the mass rally that<br>\npreceded the unrest.
