        "content": "<p>Jail term sought for alleged killers<\/p>\n<p>TANGERANG (JP): A prosecutor asked the Tangerang District<br>\nCourt on Tuesday to sentence two people to 20 years in jail each<br>\nfor a premeditated murder of their friend who refused to lend<br>\nthem Rp 20,000 (US$2.35).<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutor Hotmaida told the court that defendants Subarja bin<br>\nKubil, 19, and Hubudin bin Sahrani, 23, were guilty of killing<br>\nKaman bin Jasiman, 20, in Nagrek village, Cisoka, Tangerang on<br>\nJan. 26 this year.<\/p>\n<p>According to the prosecutor, the defendants confessed to the<br>\nmurder. They allegedly committed the murder as not only did the<br>\nvictim refuse to lend them the money but also said that the<br>\ndefendants did not deserve to be his friend because they were<br>\npoor.<\/p>\n<p>The defendants said they planned to kill the victim when the<br>\nlatter told villagers that the two defendants had borrowed money<br>\nfrom him.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecutor said the defendants used a knife and sickle to<br>\nkill the victim in a field in the village.
