        "content": "<p>Jail term sought for <br>\nGolkar politician<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Prosecutors demanded on Wednesday an eight-year jail <br>\nsentence for Golkar Party lawmaker Adiwarsita Adinegoro for graft <br>\nat the Association of Indonesian Forestry Concessionaires (APHI), <br>\nwhich allegedly occurred between 2002 and 2003 when Adiwarsita <br>\nled the organization.<\/p>\n<p>Lead prosecutor M. Jasman Panjaitan also demanded that the <br>\ndefendant and three other former APHI officials, Yusron Sarief, <br>\nZain Mashur and Abdul Fatah, who are standing trial separately, <br>\nreturn Rp 43 billion in state money they allegedly embezzled.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate hearing on Wednesday, prosecutors sought a four-<br>\nyear jail sentence for Yusron.<\/p>\n<p>The defendants are charged with misusing APHI funds that were <br>\nmeant to finance aerial mapping of forests.
