        "content": "<p>Jail for drunk who wrecked phone<\/p>\n<p>BOGOR (JP): Bogor District Court sentenced a man to two months<br>\nin prison Wednesday for demolishing a pay telephone in February<br>\nwhile he was drunk.<\/p>\n<p>Presiding judge Sri Koestati said the defendant, Mangontang<br>\nHutasoit, 29, and his friend, identified as Robin Manalu, who<br>\nwere drunk arrived at the scene in Cimanggis on a public minivan<br>\nat 11 p.m. on Feb. 12.<\/p>\n<p>Hutasoit leaned on the pole supporting the telephone and then<br>\nencouraged Mangontang to demolish it.<\/p>\n<p>The vandalism caused state telecommunications company PT<br>\nTelkom a loss of Rp 3.5 million (US$225), Sri said.<\/p>\n<p>Mangontang was found guilty of violating Article 170 of the<br>\nCriminal Code on damaging public facilities, she said.<\/p>\n<p>The same court had earlier sentenced Robin to two months and<br>\ntwo days for the offense.
