South Tangerang, VIVA \u2013 The South Tangerang Institute of Technology\n(ITTS) has achieved a significant milestone in the international higher\neducation arena. ITTS is officially recorded as the first university in\nSoutheast Asia to join the global WordPress Credits (WP Credits)\nprogramme.<\/p>\n
This participation opens new corridors for higher education in\nIndonesia, where students do not merely study theory in classrooms but\nare directly integrated into the world-class WordPress open-source\necosystem, allowing them to build professional portfolios from an early\nstage.<\/p>\n
WordPress Credits is an international initiative from the WordPress\nFoundation designed to bridge the gap between academia and the global\ndigital ecosystem. Through this programme, tangible contributions made\nby students to various WordPress projects can be converted into academic\ncredits and counted as professional experience equivalent to an\nindustrial internship.<\/p>\n

For ITTS, this strategic move is a concrete manifestation of\ntransforming the technology education model to align with the fast-paced\nneeds of modern industry.
