        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Institut Teknologi PLN (ITPLN) is providing a\nsignificant opportunity for 150 high school\/SMK equivalent graduates\nfrom West Java to pursue higher education through a bonded employment\nprogramme with PLN for new students in the 2026-2027 academic year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cITPLN is organising this as a step to give opportunities to anyone,\nparticularly West Java students who want to work at PLN,\u201d said ITPLN\nRector Prof Iwa Garniwa in a statement in Jakarta on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the hundreds of students accepted through this bonded\nemployment route will directly receive career guarantees after\ncompleting their academic studies at the campus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs many as 150 students accepted at ITPLN will be directly bound by\nwork contracts with PLN from the start of their studies. This programme\nprovides a career guarantee after graduation. Once accepted at ITPLN,\nthey are immediately bound to work by PLN. There is an official contract\nbetween the students and PLN,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to that quota, Iwa added that 100 top graduates from\nITPLN outside the bonded employment programme still have golden\nopportunities to be recruited by PLN through the regular selection\nprocess.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the ITPLN Rectorate, Purnomo, revealed that graduates from\nthe campus have very broad and promising career prospects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery year, more than 250 PLN employees study at ITPLN. This does\nnot include fresh graduates who will be absorbed later. So, the total\ncould be more than 500 ITPLN alumni who will work at PLN each year,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Purnomo stated that this situation is a distinct advantage, as ITPLN\nstudents will immediately have a strong alumni or senior network in the\nPLN work environment.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, he hopes that high school\/SMK graduates can take advantage\nof this extended registration period to contribute to realising the\nnational energy transition steps.<\/p>",
