PLN Director Emphasises Resilience and Consistency as Keys to\nSuccess<\/p>\n
Director General of PT PLN (Persero), Darmawan Prasodjo, stressed\nthat success in life is not determined by intelligence, strength or\nspeed, but by resilience and consistency when facing challenges.<\/p>\n
Darmawan delivered this message whilst motivating students in the\nWork-Binding Scheme at the PLN Institute of Technology (ITPLN) campus in\nJakarta. \u201cThe winners in life are not the cleverest, not the strongest,\nand not the fastest. The winners are those who can endure under any\ncircumstances, remain steadfast, possess wisdom, and continue moving\nforward,\u201d he said on Monday, 16 March.<\/p>\n
He explained that life and career journeys often present complex\nproblems. In such conditions, the ability to resolve issues wisely and\npossess resilience becomes the key to success. \u201cMy message is that you\nwill come to understand that the winner among you is not the cleverest,\nnot the strongest, not the fastest. Rather, the winners will be those of\nyou with patience and endurance,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Darmawan emphasised istiqomah (steadfastness) as an important\nprinciple in life. According to him, within every difficulty there is\nease, so long as a person has the strength to continue the process and\nnot stop moving forward.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, Darmawan also expressed appreciation for his\npresence at the ITPLN campus alongside ITPLN Rector Iwa Garniwa. He also\nextended Ramadan greetings to all members of the academic community.\n\u201cMay God grant all of you strength so that your efforts succeed well.\nMay you pursue high, beneficial knowledge that makes us all proud. May\nyou achieve professional careers and thriving family lives filled with\nhappiness. And may you succeed with blessings in this world and the\nhereafter,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n
ITPLN Opens Second Wave of Student Admissions<\/p>\n
Separately, ITPLN Rector Prof Iwa Garniwa announced the reopening of\nnew student admissions (PMB) Wave 2 until 1 April 2026.<\/p>\n
In this admissions cycle, the energy transition campus continues to\nopen the PLN Group Work-Binding Scheme, which offers an integrated\neducational pathway with the electricity industry, along with career\nopportunities at PLN Group upon graduation.<\/p>\n
Beyond PLN Group, ITPLN will also prepare the Work-Binding programme\nwith the Indonesian Cooling and Air Conditioning Practitioners\nAssociation (APITU) and is exploring a Work-Binding programme with the\nIndonesian Power Generators Association (APLSI).<\/p>\n
\u201cWe must be able to compete and collaborate on the international\nstage, yet remain steadfast in our values of ethics, integrity and\nnationalism. The second wave of PMB admissions runs from 20 February to 1 April\n2026. This scheme targets prospective students wishing to pursue the\nenergy sector, particularly electricity and renewable energy, as well as\ntechnology and infrastructure sectors with a global competitive\norientation.<\/p>\n
The ITPLN Work-Binding programme is one of the leading pathways as it\ncombines academic education, industry training, internships within PLN\nGroup, and competency certification aligned with workplace needs. ITPLN\nalso provides various scholarship schemes to broaden access to higher\neducation in the energy field.<\/p>\n
Registration is conducted online through the official website\nwww.infopmb.itpln.ac.id. Prospective students are advised to pay\nattention to the schedule and requirements to avoid missing this\nopportunity. At least 13 D3 and S1 programmes are available for\nselection, with tuition fees varying according to the chosen\nprogramme.<\/p>\n
ITPLN will conduct file selection on 3 April 2026 to allow\nprospective students to participate in the PLN Group Work-Binding\nSelection process.<\/p>\n
Diverse Scholarship Schemes Available<\/p>\n
Andi Dahroni, Manager of Marketing and Admissions at ITPLN, explained\nthat ITPLN provides various scholarship schemes, ranging from full and\npartial scholarships, academic and non-academic merit scholarships,\nscholarships for disadvantaged students, Quran memorisation\nscholarships, sports scholarships, scholarships for PLN employee\nchildren, KIP Kuliah (government tuition assistance), and cooperative\nscholarships with SOEs and PLN Group.<\/p>\n
Academically, ITPLN applies the SMART 4-4-2 learning system. This\nscheme comprises 40% theory taught by academic lecturers, 40%\nproblem-solving based learning guided by energy industry practitioners,\nand 20% field experience through guest lectures, industrial visits, and\ndirect practice in the electricity sector and renewable energy.<\/p>\n
