        "content": "<p>InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) says the investment\nclimate in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK) in West Nusa\nTenggara (NTB) remains conducive and progressing well through 2026. ITDC\nOperations Director Troy Warokka stated at a gathering with Mandalika\nGrand Prix Association (MGPA) Chief Executive Ananda Mikola in Mandalika\non Friday that signals of investment in the KEK Mandalika are improving\nand stable this year. According to provisional data, the cumulative\nvalue of investment in the KEK Mandalika exceeds Rp6 trillion. With this\nachievement, the investment climate in Mandalika continues to be\npositive for the development of tourism and for the growth of the local\neconomy. \u201cThe value of investment that has entered is around Rp6\ntrillion,\u201d he said. Separately, 27 entrepreneurs are currently active in\nthe KEK Mandalika, involved in hotel accommodation development,\nrestaurants, eco-tourism, sport tourism and other ventures. \u201cInvestors\ncome from domestic as well as international sources,\u201d he said.\n\u201cEmployment absorption in the KEK Mandalika has reached 26,000 people.\u201d\nHe noted that visitor numbers to the KEK Mandalika from January to April\n2026 totalled 285,000, both domestic and international. \u201cThese visitor\nnumbers are quite good for tourism developers in Mandalika,\u201d he added.\nHe said that in the future several new investors will enter to assist\nwith padel facilities as part of the development of Mandalika\u2019s tourism\ninfrastructure. \u201cThis means the impact of MotoGP and other activities at\nthe Mandalika Circuit is beginning to show positive results for the\ndevelopment of the Mandalika KEK,\u201d he stated. He continued that support\nfrom regional governments, both the NTB Province and Lombok Tengah, has\nbeen quite good in promoting the Mandalika KEK as a tourist destination.\n\u201cWe hope this collaboration will continue to be strengthened so that it\ncan contribute to economic growth, particularly in NTB,\u201d he\nconcluded.<\/p>",
