        "content": "<p>ITB, Freeport cooperate<\/p>\n<p>BANDUNG: The Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and PT<br>\nFreeport Indonesia have agreed to cooperate seeking ways to solve<br>\nindustrial problems concerning the giant mining company's<br>\noperation in Irian Jaya.<\/p>\n<p>Freeport's president, Adrianto Machribie, and ITB's director<br>\nof the Institute for Affiliated Industrial Research, Kisdarjanto,<br>\nsigned the agreement Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Machribie said the research center has a number of experts<br>\nwith various backgrounds and experience in handling mining<br>\nproblems. \"Combined with the knowledge and skills of Freeport's<br>\nown staff, we could establish safe working conditions,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>There are no details as to the amount of money involved in the<br>\nproject or how long the cooperation will run.
