        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2014 The Director of Security and Defence at Indonesia\u2019s\nSouth-South Foundation (ISSF), Fathira Salsabila, has asserted that\nIndonesia possesses moral and diplomatic legitimacy in advancing the\npeaceful resolution of conflicts.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, Indonesia also has a relevant role in global peace\ndiplomacy. \u201cThis includes through the two-state solution approach, which\nis frequently presented at various international forums,\u201d Fathira said\nin a written statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>In this regard, the Board of Advisors of the Indonesia South-South\nFoundation (ISSF), Khairy Fuady, assessed that the emergence of the\nBoard of Peace represents an effort to strengthen governance of global\npeace amid increasingly complex international geopolitical dynamics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe presence of the Board of Peace should be viewed as part of the\ncollective effort of the international community in seeking new\napproaches to maintain world stability and peace,\u201d said Khairy.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Executive Director of the Indonesia South-South\nFoundation (ISSF), Akbar Azmi Hardjasasmita, emphasised the importance\nof clarity regarding the mechanisms and authority of the institution,\nparticularly following its recognition through United Nations Security\nCouncil Resolution 2803.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGoing forward, the effectiveness of the Board of Peace will be\nlargely determined by the clarity of institutional structure and support\nfrom member states,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>In a broader context, according to him, Indonesia\u2019s involvement in\nthe Board of Peace is seen as part of efforts to ensure that the Gaza\nreconstruction process remains oriented towards a two-state solution,\ndespite facing various challenges and international political\ndynamics.<\/p>",
