Not only\ndid they steal, Israeli soldiers killed his son.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIsraeli soldiers stole our sheep and killed my son,\u201d said Ali\nKaabneh, standing where his 16-year-old son Yousef was killed.<\/p>\n<p>Yousef was shot in the village of Jiljilya, north of Ramallah in the\noccupied West Bank, when Israeli settlers and soldiers raided the area\nlast Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Around 900 sheep were forcibly taken from local Palestinians during\nthe raid.<\/p>\n<p>Although settlers often invade Palestinian communities and steal\nlivestock, in this case the entire operation was coordinated with\u2014and\nunder the protection of\u2014the Israeli military, which secured the theft\nand assisted the settlers throughout the operation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey chased our flock, stole them, looted and robbed us, and\nbrutally killed my son,\u201d Kaabneh told Middle East Eye.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a terrorist government policy of killing and looting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The raid was launched after reports that 120 sheep had been stolen in\nthe early hours of Wednesday from Tzur Levavi Farm\u2014an illegal outpost\nmanaged by the Maguri family. Located in Jabal al-Batin in Area A, part\nof the occupied West Bank under Palestinian Authority control, the\noutpost sits on land belonging to the villages of Sinjil and al-Mazra\u2019a\nash-Sharqiya.<\/p>\n<p>The following morning, dozens of settlers, accompanied by Israeli\nsoldiers, stormed the villages of Sinjil, Jiljilya, and Abwein, entering\nsheep pens and emptying them.<\/p>\n<p>Israel National News (Arutz 7), a pro-settler media outlet, reported\nthat the sheep seizure was possible through joint activities of security\nforces and Zionist civilian volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>During the raid, Israeli soldiers set up roadblocks across the area\nto allow settlers to move freely.<\/p>",
