Israeli executives due here<\/p>\n
TEL AVIV (Reuter): Senior executives from Koor Industries Ltd,
\nIsrael's largest industrial concern, will visit four Asian
\ncountries, including Indonesia, in February to seek out trade and
\nbusiness opportunities, industry sources said.<\/p>\n
The trip will include Indonesia and Sri Lanka -- countries
\nwithout diplomatic ties to Israel -- as well as Myanmar and
\nVietnam, the sources said.<\/p>\n
It would be the most senior economic delegation from Israel to
\never visit those countries, the sources said.<\/p>\n
Koor spokesman Amiram Fleischer confirmed a delegation of
\nsenior executives was planing to visit some Asian countries but
\nrefused to provide further details.<\/p>\n
The delegation will be headed by Koor president and chief
\nexecutive Benjamin Gaon and Koor chairman Stanley Gold, who heads
\nShamrock, the Disney family's investment vehicle that owns 22.5
\npercent of Koor.<\/p>\n
The meetings in Myanmar, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Indonesia are
\nexpected to strengthen trade relations between Koor and Asian
\nindustry and "could lead to an opening of Koor offices in those
\ncountries", a source said.<\/p>\n
Koor's spokesman refused to comment on whether the delegation
\nwould meet government officials while in Indonesia.<\/p>",
