The Israeli attack is known to have also killed three\nTNI soldiers who were part of the UN peacekeeping force (UNIFIL). \u201cThe\nIndonesian government must immediately urge the convening of an\nemergency UN Security Council session to discuss this violation and\nensure accountability,\u201d Soleh told reporters on Wednesday (1 April\n2026). In addition, he is calling for an evaluation to consider\nwithdrawing TNI soldiers from Lebanon. This withdrawal is considered\nimportant to ensure the safety of Indonesian soldiers in the conflict\narea. \u201cThe safety of the soldiers is the top priority. The government\nmust immediately conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the peacekeeping\ndeployment in that area,\u201d said Soleh.
