\u201cThe IDF will remain in the security zones in Lebanon, Syria, and\nGaza until further notice, to protect the residents and communities of\nIsrael from jihadist terrorists,\u201d Katz said, according to the defence\nministry.<\/p>\n
Speaking at an event honouring soldiers killed during the 2006\nLebanon war, Katz further declared, \u201cWe will not withdraw from the\nsecurity zones.\u201d He also reiterated previous warnings to Iran, stating\nthat the Islamic Republic would be struck with \u201cfull force\u201d if it\nattacked Israel over its operations in Lebanon.<\/p>\n
