The programs with an Islamic tone aired by several private TV
\nstations lately deserve a warm welcome, because such films are
\nvery beneficial and provide guidance through their important
\nmessages.<\/p>\n
Presented by among others TPI, SCTV and Lativi, the shows
\ncarry religious values and generally demonstrate divine powers
\nbeyond human reasoning, which are derived from legends as well as
\ntrue stories.<\/p>\n
The educative entertainment programs are made complete with
\nthe appearance of Islamic teachers explaining the morals of their
\nthemes by quoting verses of the Koran. In this way, TV audiences
\nare expected to avoid the temptations of evil.<\/p>\n
Television therefore serves also as a media of learning and
\neducation for society apart from the function of entertainment,
\nthrough religious dramas that have a positive impact on the
\npopulation now facing a moral crisis.<\/p>\n
