Islamic center ready in 1994<\/p>\n

UJUNGPANDANG, South Sulawesi: The new Islamic Center Mosque
\nwhich is being built here should be ready by next March,
\naccording its chief financier.<\/p>\n

Gen. (ret.) M. Jusuf, who had the idea of building the mosque,
\nsaid that the center's building itself will be able to
\naccommodate up to 10,000 people. A total of 40,000 people could
\nbe accommodated if the surrounding fields are included, he said

Jusuf was formerly chief of the Armed Forces and chairman of
\nthe Supreme Audit Agency before retiring from public office in
