Banda Aceh (ANTARA) - The Iskandar Muda Military Command (Kodam IM)\nis conducting a simultaneous low-cost market across the entirety of Aceh\nto commemorate the 81st anniversary of the TNI in 2026, aiming to assist\nthe community in meeting their needs at affordable prices.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis activity is a manifestation of the TNI\u2019s care and commitment to\nalways be present among the people, particularly in helping to meet\nbasic needs with more affordable prices,\u201d said the Commander of the\nIskandar Muda Military Command (Pangdam IM), Major General TNI Joko Hadi\nSusilo, in Blang Padang, Banda Aceh, on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The Pangdam IM explained that the implementation of this low-cost\nbazaar is not only part of the series of commemorations for the 81st TNI\nAnniversary but also a tangible form of the TNI\u2019s service to the\ncommunity.<\/p>\n
The Pangdam IM also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all\nparties that have supported the activity, particularly the Regional\nGovernment, business actors, commodity providers, and all ranks of the\nTNI.<\/p>\n
The Pangdam IM hopes that the Simultaneous Low-Cost Bazaar can\nprovide real benefits to the community while serving as part of the\nTNI\u2019s professional and strong spirit in carrying out service alongside\nthe people to build the nation.<\/p>\n
The Head of the Aceh Department of Industry and Trade (Disperindag),\nT Adi Darma, stated that the market operation in conjunction with the\n81st TNI Anniversary, held at Blang Padang Field, Banda Aceh, will take\nplace for two days, from 22 to 23 September 2026.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis market operation is an effort by the government to be directly\npresent in easing the burden on the community and ensuring inflation\nremains well-controlled, particularly in areas used to measure the\nConsumer Price Index (CPI), such as Banda Aceh City,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
During the low-cost market activity, the Aceh Government is providing\nsubsidies for four main commodities: rice at a selling price of\nRp105,000 per 10kg sack, granulated sugar at Rp32,000 per kg, cooking\noil at Rp38,000 per 2-litre pack, and chicken eggs at Rp36,000 per tray\nof 30 eggs.<\/p>\n
More specifically, he mentioned that the Aceh Government has prepared\nstocks for the low-cost market consisting of 12 tonnes of premium rice,\n2.4 tonnes of granulated sugar, 2.4 tonnes of cooking oil, and 1,000\ntrays of chicken eggs.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe invite the community to take advantage of this momentum to meet\ntheir needs at affordable prices and to shop according to their needs\nand means, so that the benefits of this market operation can be felt\nequally,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
