Tehran (ANTARA) - Iran\u2019s interim Defence Minister, Brigadier General\nMajid Ebn-e-Reza, has stated that his country considers every threat\nfrom enemy parties to be a real threat deserving of serious attention.\nThis statement was conveyed by Ebn-e-Reza via a message posted on his\nsocial media account on Sunday, in response to threats from parties he\nidentified as enemies.<\/p>\n
\u201cRecent statements from enemies, although delivered within the\nframework of psychological operations and cognitive warfare, are still\nviewed by us as real and credible threats,\u201d he wrote. He emphasised that\nIran will not be negligent or passive. \u201cWe use every threat as a basis\nto increase readiness, strengthen deterrence, and develop our\ncapabilities,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
The Iranian minister\u2019s statement comes after US President Donald\nTrump cancelled plans for attacks against Iranian energy infrastructure\nfollowing stern warnings from Iranian officials that any new aggression\nfrom the US or Israel would be met with a firm retaliation.
