        "content": "<p>IPTN opens permanent office in the Gulf<\/p>\n<p>DUBAI (AFP): Indonesia's Industri Pesawat Terbang Nusantara<br>\n(IPTN) aircraft industry has opened its first office in the Gulf<br>\nto boost sales of its 135 seat passenger jets, the CN235, in the<br>\nregion, company officials said here yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>The office will provide services for customers who have<br>\nalready bought these planes and boost future sales. So far, 13<br>\nCN235 have been sold to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates<br>\nand Oman.<\/p>\n<p>An official announcement for the opening of the office in Abu<br>\nDhabi will be made at the Dubai air show by the company director<br>\nB.J. Habibie, they said.<\/p>\n<p>The Dubai air show, which has taken place every two years for<br>\nthe last six, now ranks third in the world alongside the one in<br>\nSingapore and after those in Paris and Farnborough, England.<\/p>\n<p>More than 20,000 industry visitors are expected to attend the<br>\nshow staged by 500 exhibitors from aerospace manufacturers, to<br>\ncommunications firms to publishers around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Asian exhibitors include Singapore Aerospace, Aeronautical<br>\nRadio of Thailand, Japan's Daiichi Kosho Company Limited.<\/p>",
