        "content": "<p>The Alumni Council of the Nahdlatul Ulama Female Students\u2019\nAssociation (IPPNU) has officially inaugurated its new board of\nmanagement for the upcoming period in a ceremony filled with a spirit of\nkinship, nationalism, and service. This inauguration marks a significant\nmilestone for IPPNU alumni consolidation to strengthen women\u2019s role in\nnational development.<\/p>\n<p>During her inaugural address in Jakarta, Thursday (11\/6), the\nChairwoman of the IPPNU Alumni Council, Prof.\u00a0Dr.\u00a0Siti Nur Azizah,\nemphasised that this was not merely a change in organisational\nleadership, but a momentum to strengthen kinship, renew the spirit of\nservice, and unite steps to face various national challenges.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, IPPNU alumni are part of a social force born from\nthe Nahdlatul Ulama tradition of scholarship, leadership, and service,\ncarrying a major responsibility to continue providing benefits to\nsociety. \u201cBeing an alumnus is not the end of the regeneration process,\nbut the beginning of a broader phase of service. IPPNU alumni must be\npart of the solution to the nation\u2019s various problems,\u201d Prof.\u00a0Siti Nur\nAzizah stated.<\/p>\n<p>Siti Nur Azizah highlighted various challenges Indonesia still faces,\nranging from economic inequality, poverty, barriers to women\u2019s\nempowerment, to the threat of environmental damage and weakening social\nsolidarity. Therefore, national development must be oriented towards\njustice, equal opportunity, people\u2019s welfare, and environmental\nsustainability.<\/p>\n<p>As an organisation born from the womb of Nahdlatul Ulama, the IPPNU\nAlumni Council believes that women hold a strategic position as subjects\nof development, agents of change, family strengtheners, actors in the\npeople\u2019s economy, and guardians of human values. On this occasion, the\nChairwoman also expressed appreciation to Farida Farichah, a top IPPNU\ncadre and alumna currently serving as Deputy Minister of Cooperatives,\nwhose presence was considered clear proof of IPPNU\u2019s successful\nregeneration in producing female leaders who contribute to national\ndevelopment.<\/p>\n<p>The inauguration also served as the launch of a national strategic\nprogramme titled the \u201cWomen Building the Nation Movement.\u201d This movement\nis the Council\u2019s commitment to strengthening women\u2019s roles in\nIndonesia\u2019s development through five major agendas: first, Independent\nWomen; second, Self-Reliant Women; third, Visionary Women; fourth, Green\nWomen; and fifth, Compassionate Women.<\/p>\n<p>Siti Nur Azizah also invited the entire IPPNU Alumni Council family\nto put aside past differences and focus on the organisation\u2019s major\nagenda of serving the community, empowering women, strengthening the\npeople\u2019s economy, and building Indonesia.
