PT IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) reported container\nflow growth of 8.7 per cent year-on-year through February 2026, with\ntotal volume reaching 600,416 TEUs, a significant increase compared to\nthe same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>Monthly performance also showed strong results, with February 2026\nrecording growth of 10.6 per cent at 300,525 TEUs compared to 271,521\nTEUs in February 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Corporate Secretary of IPC TPK, Pramestie Wulandary, stated that this\ngrowth reflects sustained goods distribution activities across various\noperational regions despite the holy month of Ramadan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe continue to strengthen terminal operations to ensure smooth\ncontainer flow, particularly during Ramadan and leading up to the Eid\nholiday,\u201d Pramestie said in a written statement on Wednesday (11\nMarch).<\/p>\n<p>The Tanjung Priok area remains the primary growth driver. Through\nFebruary 2026, container flow at Tanjung Priok 1 surged 14 per cent to\n208,198 TEUs. Meanwhile, Tanjung Priok 2 recorded volume of 286,613 TEUs\nor growth of 6.9 per cent compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>Positive performance has also extended to several regions outside\nJava. The Panjang area in Lampung recorded rapid growth of 20.9 per cent\n(20,660 TEUs), Teluk Bayur area in Padang increased 7.8 per cent (18,561\nTEUs), and Pontianak area in West Kalimantan rose 4.9 per cent (43,550\nTEUs).<\/p>\n<p>As peak Eid logistics season approaches, IPC TPK has begun\nimplementing mitigation measures regarding operational restrictions on\nroad freight transport. The company has advised service users to\nschedule container pickup and delivery earlier to avoid congestion at\nports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are optimising terminal facilities and cargo handling equipment\nproductivity. Cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders is key to\nensuring smooth logistics flow during this peak period,\u201d Pramestie\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, IPC Terminal Petikemas recorded container flow growth\nof 13.1 per cent in the January\u2013October 2025 period compared to the same\nperiod the previous year.<\/p>",
