        "content": "<p>IPB opens first cricket workshop<\/p>\n<p>BOGOR: To support the development of natural resources in the<br>\ncountry, the Bogor Agricultural Institute will hold the country's<br>\nfirst research workshop on crickets.<\/p>\n<p>\"We are supporting the development of crickets as a commodity<br>\nby working together with more than 50,000 cricket breeders<br>\nthrough their association,\" said the director of the IPB's Human<br>\nResources Center, Illah Sailah, on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The IPB signed a memorandum of understanding with the<br>\nbreeders' association last week.<\/p>\n<p>Illah said the IPB would help the farmers with the development<br>\nof human resources and technology, while the association would<br>\nhelp enlarge the market for the insects.<\/p>\n<p>He said that crickets, which are common in Indonesia, had long<br>\nbeen used as ingredients in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics<br>\nindustries, as well as in traditional medicine. --Antara<\/p>",
