Smart mobility technology company OMOWAY has unveiled its OMO-ROBOT Architecture at a global launch event in Singapore, with the company's flagship product, OMO X — the world's first mass-produced electric motorcycle with automatic balancing technology — entering full production. Indonesia has been selected as OMOWAY's primary market, with pre-orders scheduled to begin in late April 2026 and market launch in Jakarta in late May 2026, capitalizing on Indonesia's position as one of the world's largest two-wheeled vehicle ecosystems.

Singapore — Technology company OMOWAY has officially launched its
latest technology architecture, the OMO-ROBOT Architecture, at a global
event held in Singapore on Thursday, 12 March 2026. On the occasion, the
company also announced that its flagship product, the OMO X, an electric
motorcycle featuring the world’s first mass-produced automatic balancing
technology, has officially entered the mass production phase.

OMOWAY is recognised as a technology company focused on developing
intelligent mobility based on the integration of hardware and software.
The company develops two-wheeled vehicle technology that combines
artificial intelligence, perception sensors, and robotic systems to
deliver a safer, more stable, and adaptive riding experience for
users.

The global launch in Singapore affirms the country’s position as a
centre of technological innovation in Southeast Asia. According to the
company, Singapore was selected as the strategic gateway to the regional
market and the location of OMOWAY’s global headquarters, positioning the
company within the rapidly developing technology ecosystem in the
region.

The core technology introduced at the event is the OMO-ROBOT
Architecture, an integrated technology system that serves as the “brain”
for all OMOWAY products. The system combines aerospace-grade gyroscope
technology with reinforcement learning-based artificial intelligence
models developed internally.

Through this approach, OMOWAY seeks to address one of the most
fundamental challenges in two-wheeled vehicles: maintaining balance. For
more than a century, motorcycles have been known as vehicles prone to
tipping over when stationary or moving very slowly. With this new
technology, OMOWAY seeks to change that paradigm.

“For years we asked ourselves one simple thing: why do motorcycles
still fall over when they stop? From that question came the idea to
build a two-wheeled vehicle capable of maintaining its own balance,”
said OMOWAY founder Todd He at the launch.

The OMO-ROBOT Architecture is designed with four primary capabilities
that resemble human instincts. The system can “see” through a 360-degree
visual perception system, “think” through decision-making models in
milliseconds, “act” through precision coordination between motor,
braking, steering, and gyroscope, and “react” instantly through
high-performance electrical and electronic architecture.

The main product highlighted at the launch is the OMO X, an electric
motorcycle capable of automatically maintaining balance without needing
a stand. The vehicle uses a high-precision Control Moment Gyroscope
(CMG) module that utilises the principle of angular momentum
conservation, allowing the motorcycle to remain upright even when
travelling extremely slowly or stationary.

With this technology, the OMO X can maintain stability autonomously
and assist riders in various riding situations. This not only increases
comfort but also has the potential to enhance safety, particularly for
novice riders or in heavy traffic conditions.

Beyond automatic balancing technology, the motorcycle is also
equipped with an active safety system called “All-Scenario Protection”.
This system enables the vehicle to provide active intervention in
various conditions, such as helping to prevent skidding on wet roads,
providing stability assistance when cornering, and performing obstacle
avoidance in emergency situations.

This innovation transforms the concept of the traditional motorcycle
into a more intelligent and responsive vehicle. OMOWAY has even defined
a new category for this product as MotoRobot — a two-wheeled vehicle
capable of perceiving its environment, maintaining balance, and
interacting with the rider through an artificial intelligence
system.

“The OMO X is not merely an electric motorcycle. We envision it as a
mobility robot capable of understanding its environment and working with
the rider to create a safer riding experience,” said Todd He.

Beyond introducing technological innovation, the OMO X has also
received international recognition by winning the iF Design Award 2026.
The prestigious German design award was given to the product for
successfully combining futuristic design with innovative technological
function.

OMOWAY has also announced that Indonesia will be the primary market
for the OMO X. The company has scheduled the opening of official
pre-orders for the end of April 2026, whilst the market launch will be
held in Jakarta at the end of May 2026, coinciding with the announcement
of the vehicle’s complete pricing and specifications.

OMOWAY’s Indonesian Market General Manager, Yulong Chen, stated that
Indonesia was selected as the primary market because it has one of the
world’s largest two-wheeled vehicle ecosystems and a growing rate of
technology adoption.

“Indonesia is a very important market for us. With an extremely large
number of motorcycle users and high mobility needs, we see a great
opportunity to bring safer and smarter riding technology to the public,”
said Yulong Chen.

He added that the company is also preparing various local initiatives
to support the product’s presence in Indonesia, including developing a
service ecosystem and collaborations with domestic industry
partners.

Although designed as a global product, the company stated that
expansion to other regions such as Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Europe,
and the United States is not a priority for 2026. OMOWAY is currently
conducting market evaluation and localisation research before expanding
sales to these countries.

Beyond the smart motorcycle, OMOWAY is also introducing Mobility One,
a versatile wheeled robot designed for various usage scenarios such as
logistics.
",
