        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2014 Stellantis and Indomobil have signed a cooperation\nagreement to market Leapmotor in Indonesia. However, the precise launch\ndate for the Chinese electric vehicle brand remains unknown.<\/p>\n<p>Tan Kim Piauw, Chief Executive Officer of PT Indomobil National\nDistributor, stated that Leapmotor is an automotive brand operating\nunder the Stellantis banner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStellantis itself is one of the world\u2019s largest automotive groups at\npresent. There are various brands under Stellantis,\u201d said Tan.<\/p>\n<p>Tan added that Leapmotor was first established in 2015 and focuses on\nresearch and development. \u201cLeapmotor\u2019s vision is to become one of the\nworld\u2019s leading intelligent EV players. Leapmotor is very strong in\nresearch and development,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Tan noted that various main vehicle components are produced and\ndeveloped in-house by Leapmotor, including both hardware and software.\nThe company has been rapidly accepted in both the domestic Chinese\nmarket and the global market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy 2025, Leapmotor had sold 596,555 units.
