        "content": "<p>Int'l volleyball tourney planned<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The city administration will hold a sister city<br>\nvolleyball tournament for the second time, from July 15 to July<br>\n21.<\/p>\n<p>The city secretary's Assistant for Welfare Affairs,<br>\nSoenarjudardji, said yesterday that the tournament, which was<br>\nfirst held in 1994, is aimed at increasing cooperation between<br>\nJakarta and its sister cities.<\/p>\n<p>\"The tournament also has other goals, such as publicizing the<br>\nsister city program, as well as improving our players,\"<br>\nSoenarjudardji said.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 12 cities will participate in the tournament. Nine<br>\nare sister cities of Jakarta, with the remaining three being<br>\nguest cities.<\/p>\n<p>The sister cities which will participate in the tournament are<br>\nSeoul, Beijing, Berlin, New South Wales, Rotterdam, Arkansas,<br>\nTokyo and Los Angeles. The guest cities are Bangkok, Cairo and<br>\nEindhoven.<\/p>\n<p>The head organizer, Eddy Widodo, said that the cities are<br>\nsending their college teams. (yns)<\/p>",
