Interpol fugitive deported to Austria<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): The government has deported an Austria national
\nlisted as wanted by Interpol after being arrested here for
\nviolating immigration regulations, an official said on Friday.<\/p>\n
Zaiman Nurmatias, the director of immigration supervision and
\ncontrol, said that Mounir Tijani Bouslama, holding canceled
\nAustrian passport number C 07284251, was deported to his home
\ncountry on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
\"He was flown back to Austria under the escort of two Interpol
\nofficers as he has been named on that country's wanted list,\" the
\nofficial explained.<\/p>\n
\"He entered Indonesia in 1993 and worked as a director of
\ntourism company PT Curug Luhur Indah Paradise.<\/p>\n
\"Later on, a note from the Austrian Embassy here dated June 22
\nstated that his passport had been revoked due to wrongdoings in
\nAustria,\" Zaiman said.<\/p>\n
Bouslama left for Bangkok on June 22 and returned to Indonesia
\nin an attempt to process his stay permit. His application was
\nrejected.<\/p>\n
Based on the embassy's notification, the immigration officials
\nchecked Bouslama's documents and then took him into custody.
