Jakarta \u2013 President Prabowo Subianto commended Muhammad Zian Fahrezi,\nthe champion in the Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur\u2019an category at the 3rd\nInternational Al-Ameed Qur\u2019anic Recitation Competition in Karbala, for\nhis performance during the Nuzulul Qur\u2019an commemoration at the State\nPalace on Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n
Zian performed before President Prabowo Subianto and hundreds of\ninvited guests, reciting verses from the Holy Qur\u2019an, specifically Surah\nAl-Hasyr verses 21 to 24.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would also like to express my gratitude to young Muhammad Zian\nFahrezi, eleven years old, the first-place champion of the Qur\u2019anic\nrecitation competition in Iran, right? In 2026,\u201d the President said in\nhis remarks.<\/p>\n
The recitation of the sacred verses by Zian at the beginning of the\nevent visibly moved the invited guests, including House of Regional\nRepresentatives (DPD) Chairman Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin, who recited\nthe same verses with reverence.<\/p>\n
The recitation was accompanied by melodious accompaniment by Velly\nSyukron from RRI Jakarta.<\/p>\n
At just eleven years old, Zian Fahrezi has already made his mark on\nthe international stage as a champion. The fourth-grader from Bima City,\nWest Nusa Tenggara, successfully won the children\u2019s category at the 3rd\nInternational Al-Ameed Qur\u2019anic Recitation Competition held in Karbala,\nIraq in 2026.<\/p>\n
According to various sources, Zian was born into a legendary family\nof Qur\u2019anic reciters in Bima. The gift for Qur\u2019anic recitation flows\nstrongly from his great-grandfather, the late Kiai Haji Abubakar Husein,\nand his grandfather, TGH Ramli Ahmad, both of whom were international\nQur\u2019anic reciters of renown.<\/p>\n
This talented legacy was subsequently carried forward by his father,\nUstadz Ahmad Azka Fuad, who is a national champion.<\/p>\n
His performance in Karbala impressed the international judging panel\nthrough his stable breathing technique and melodious recitation\nstyle.<\/p>\n
In recognition of this achievement, the President specifically\nrequested that Zian meet with him after the event concluded.<\/p>\n
