        "content": "<p>Intellectual debate<\/p>\n<p>Like Mr. Sri Pamoejo Raharjo (Your Letters, Nov. 19, 1996), I<br>\nalso followed the recent open debate in the local media over<br>\nHabibie's zigzag theory to reduce the current high interest<br>\nrates. The theory was opposed by most prominent economists in the<br>\ncountry. Each of them presented their logical and interesting<br>\nargument and analysis on the subject. Many others also joined the<br>\nopen debate by writing articles to express their point of view.<br>\nSome agreed, some did not.<\/p>\n<p>Far from annoying, in my opinion, this kind of intellectual<br>\ndebate is very good and healthy.
