        "content": "<p>The Kupang Regency Government in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) will build\nan Integrated National School with an investment value of around Rp 250\nbillion. The school, which is part of a central government programme, is\ntargeted to begin construction next month.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are grateful that we are possibly the only regency to receive an\nIntegrated National School, with a budget allocation of around Rp 250\nbillion,\u201d said Kupang Regent Yosef Lede on Wednesday (17\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Yosef explained that Kupang Regency had previously been designated as\na location for the construction of a Sekolah Rakyat (People\u2019s School).\nNow, the local government has again been entrusted to host an Integrated\nNational School, which is part of the President\u2019s priority\nprogramme.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccording to the plan, construction will begin next month, and this\nis in line with the President\u2019s programme,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the presence of the school is expected to broaden\naccess to quality education for the community, particularly children in\nKupang Regency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo we in the region are ready, and we hope that we can accommodate\nthis excellent programme from the President to meet the needs of our\nchildren who wish to attend a quality school,\u201d said Yosef.<\/p>\n<p>He assessed that the construction of the Integrated National School\ncould reduce the community\u2019s dependence on educational institutions\noutside NTT, which have so far been an option for some students to\ncontinue their education.<\/p>\n<p>The Kupang Regency Government has already prepared 20 hectares of\nland in Manusak Village, East Kupang District, as a requirement for the\nconstruction.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe land is already available. We have prepared 20 hectares of\nland,\u201d Yosef clarified.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, a technical team has visited the location to conduct land\nmeasurements. The results of these measurements will subsequently be\nsubmitted to the relevant ministry as part of the construction\nadministration process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKupang Regency is included as a priority area for the construction\nof an Integrated National School,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>",
