Musa Rajekshah, a member of Commission V of the Indonesian House of\nRepresentatives (DPR RI), inspected the widening and lane addition of\nthe National Road in Sei Rampah, Serdang Bedlam, North Sumatra. The\ninspection, which took place on Saturday (12\/9), was conducted to ensure\nthe quality of national strategic infrastructure in the region.<\/p>\n
During the visit, Musa Rajekshah, affectionately known as Ijeck, was\naccompanied by the Vice Regent of Serdang Bedagai, Adlin Tambunan. Also\npresent were the Head of BBPJN North Sumatra, Hardy Siahaan, and a\nmember of the North Sumatra Regional House of Representatives (DPRD)\nfrom the Golkar Faction, Ziad Ananta.<\/p>\n
Ijeck stated that the equitable distribution of development,\nparticularly regarding National Road infrastructure, must be felt by\ncommunities across all regions of Indonesia. He noted that\ninfrastructure development plays a strategic role in opening access,\nstrengthening inter-regional connectivity, and driving regional economic\ngrowth.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe equitable distribution of development, especially national road\ninfrastructure, must be felt evenly across all regions in Indonesia.\nRoads are vital infrastructure because they are directly linked to\ncommunity mobility and economic activities,\u201d Ijeck said in a written\nstatement on Saturday (12\/9\/2026).<\/p>\n
Ijeck added that infrastructure development should not focus solely\non physical construction but must act as a catalyst for regional\neconomic growth. Adequate infrastructure will impact the smooth\ndistribution of goods and services, support industrial zones, open\neconomic access for the community, and improve basic services.<\/p>\n
\u201cInfrastructure development must serve as a catalyst for regional\neconomic growth, particularly in strengthening connectivity, supporting\nindustrial areas, and improving basic services for the public.\nTherefore, development must be well-planned and executed to provide\nmaximum and sustainable benefits,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n
He also emphasised the importance of synergy between the central\ngovernment, local governments, and all stakeholders in overseeing\ninfrastructure development. According to him, coordination and field\nsupervision are necessary to ensure that various strategic developments\nproceed according to planning and community needs.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, the Vice Regent of Serdang Bedagai, Adlin Tambunan,\nalso expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Central Government\nand the DPR RI for their visit and attention. Special appreciation was\ngiven to Commission V member Musa Rajekshah for realising infrastructure\nand education sector development in the area.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn behalf of the Government and the people of Serdang Bedagai, we\nexpress our gratitude for Mr Musa Rajekshah\u2019s visit to Serdang Bedagai\nRegency. Direct inspections such as this are very important because we\ncan see the conditions on the ground while absorbing various needs that\nare of concern to the community,\u201d explained Adlin.<\/p>\n
Adlin hoped that with the successful collaboration already in place,\nthe development of this national road could continue. His office remains\noptimistic that the lane realignment project can proceed to\ncompletion.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe hope that the development and widening of this national road will\nincrease the community\u2019s economy and that the development plan can be\nfully realised,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n
The Head of BBPJN North Sumatra, Hardy Siahaan, reported that the\nconstruction of the 1.5-kilometre stretch of national road has reached\n64 per cent.
