An area in Tangerang Regency, Banten, has been dubbed \u2018Padel Village\u2019\ndue to the mushrooming number of padel courts in the locality. Most are\nsituated in the villages of Pagerhaur and Rancalele, in the Pagedangan\nsub-district.<\/p>\n
Based on observations by detikcom on Tuesday (24\/2\/2026), there are\napproximately seven padel courts across the two villages along Jalan\nRaya Pagedangan. The court locations are closely clustered, with some\ndirectly opposite one another.<\/p>\n
In Rancalele, for instance, two courts sit in close proximity,\nseparated by a distance of only around 10 to 15 metres.<\/p>\n
In Pagerhaur, meanwhile, there are roughly six padel courts. The\ndistances between them are similarly short \u2014 some are side by side,\nothers across the road, with the furthest apart being approximately 10\nto 15 metres.<\/p>\n
Most of the padel courts in the area have parking facilities set back\nfrom the road. Some have their parking areas and courts on separate\nplots of land.<\/p>\n
Notably, the courts are located directly within residential\nneighbourhoods. Some are positioned right alongside the walls of\nresidents\u2019 homes.<\/p>\n
In other words, homeowners can watch padel matches directly from\ntheir windows. Other courts are situated among rows of shops, food\nstalls, and vehicle repair workshops.<\/p>\n
Beyond padel courts, other sports facilities can be found in the\narea, including gyms, golf driving ranges, and badminton courts.
